Adventure Clinic #1

This past Saturday we held the first adventure clinic of the spring. It was great to get our students out and interacting with local community children.

It was great to see the climbers challenge themselves and our students mentoring them.

After warming up with some base rail activities we talked about belaying and safety. Next we introduced the gear and other safety equipment.
Climbing was fun - we even had the father of one of our students climb!

Afterward we practiced knots and talked about things we did well and things we can work on. For folks who want to work on their knots check out the knot tutorial link over on the right side.
