NHS Alum to Study in Jordan

We just heard the news today that Ruth '04 was heading to Jordan for a study abroad experience.

She wrote in an email to friends and faculty:

"Today's the day! For many of you, today is the day you'll stop hearing my endless prattle about how excited I am to live far far away from anything I know or understand. Today is the day I leave for Amman. Yay!"

You can hear her excitement brimming over in these words.

I found my own study abroad experience transformative and shaping in my world view so I'm very excited for Ruth. I feel that this kind of journey is one of the most authentic experiential learning adventures going.
